Betty White's longtime Los Angeles residence has fetched an impressive $10.678 million in a recent sale, as reported by TMZ. The property, located in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood, was shared by White and her late husband Allen Ludden, who passed away in 1981. The house, which was listed in late April, was sold by Marlene Okulick of Sotheby's International Realty. This transaction comes after White's home in Carmel, California was sold for nearly $3 million more than its original listing price.

According to White's estate, she had a strong connection to California and longed to be back in her hometown of Los Angeles despite briefly living in New York after her marriage to Allen Ludden.

The 3,029 square-foot home in LA served as White's residence during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic until her passing on New Year's Eve 2021 at the age of 99. She had originally hoped to spend her final days at her seaside Carmel home, but due to her condition and safety concerns amid the pandemic, she remained in the Los Angeles property.

The house, acquired by Betty and her husband in 1968, was built in 1952. It was strategically located near film and television studios and offered a great deal of privacy.

Although the interior condition of the house is not specified, the listing suggested that it could be a candidate for demolition. Prospective buyers were required to be prequalified before touring the interior, which was not shown in the listing images.

While the house may not compare to the more luxurious neighboring properties, it does feature five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a beautiful yard with a stunning view of the popular J. Paul Getty Museum. The property spans three-quarters of an acre and includes a modest swimming pool with a stone walkway.

Betty White's home is surrounded by lovely gardens filled with various flowers, attractive shrubs, and trees.

The house also includes a sunroom where the actress enjoyed admiring her gardens. Given the high demand for properties in that area of Los Angeles, it is likely that the house was purchased with the intention of being demolished. Additionally, there is a detached guest house, which reportedly served as a gathering place for White and Ludden's famous friends, such as Burt Reynolds, Jimmy Stewart, Gloria Stewart, and Dinah Shore.
