Betty White's luxurious home in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles has been demolished after being sold for a staggering $10.678 million in June. The iconic Golden Girls star passed away on New Year's Eve last year at her other residence in Carmel-By-The-Sea, California, just weeks before her 100th birthday.

Her official Instagram account, currently managed by her longtime assistant Kiersten Mikelas, recently announced the demolition of the Los Angeles property. The house was initially purchased by Betty and her third husband Allen Ludden in 1968 and remained her residence for over four decades.

The Brentwood home featured five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, and a picturesque view of the Getty museum.

Following her passing, Betty's beachfront estate in Carmel was also sold for $10.775 million, surpassing its initial asking price by nearly $3 million. Similarly, the Brentwood property fetched a higher price than expected, selling for $10.678 million in June. It was widely anticipated that the new owners would demolish the existing house and construct a new building on the site.
