Actors Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise married in 1990 and adopted two children - Connor, now 24, and Isabella, now 26. The pair split in 2001 and Tom kept custody of the children with reports at the time stating both Connor and Isabella were devout Scientologists and elected to stay with their dad. Nicole is said to have blamed the religion for ruining her marriage and relationship with her two children. Now it seems the split within the family has grown deeper as she has reportedly been banned from attending her son's wedding.

The actress has previously sparked controversy when in January 2018 she thanked her two children with husband Keith Urban, 10-year-old Sunday and eight-year-old Faith, after winning a Golden Globe. The award was for her performance in Big Little Lies - but the star seemingly snubbed her two adopted children in her acceptance speech.

However, in an interview with Who magazine in 2018, Nicole implied she does not have a rift with Isabella - who earlier this week claimed Scientology saved her life - and Connor.
