It all started when McHale casually asked her to be a part of his family's annual Christmas card.

Reflecting on White's time on set, McHale reveals, "We had countless guest stars visit, but without a doubt, everyone wanted their picture taken with Betty.

When I mentioned that Betty White would be on the show, my wife eagerly expressed her interest in coming down with our kids."

Without hesitation, the always delightful White happily posed for a photo with the McHale family, which they used for their cherished Christmas card. McHale's admiration for the five-time Emmy winner shines through as he describes her as "hilarious and carefree." He goes on to say that being around her inspired him to be a better person, acknowledging the cliché, but truly believing in the transformative effect she had on those around her.

McHale humorously adds, "I learned from her that's how you do it!"
