Starz has dropped its first look at the Outlander season seven midseason finale, which has plenty of twists and turns.
Perhaps the biggest shock appears to be Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) may have finally been killed off after evading death for so long.
In a short trailer for the upcoming episode eight titled Turning Points, Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe) searches the battlefield for her husband.
She then stumbles across a fallen soldier lying facedown, only to turn him over and find herself face to face with a man who seems to be Jamie.
He has either succumbed to his injuries or is merely unconscious in the aftermath of battle.Fans will have to wait and see what has happened to Jamie and if has indeed died.
Elsewhere in the short teaser, Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin) goes back through the stones after his son Jemmy (Blake Johnston Miller) was kidnapped by Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton).
Rob lied to Roger and Brianna MacKenzie (Sophie Skelton) and took their son on false pretences with some sinister, unknown motives in mind.
Only when Mandy MacKenzie (Rosa Morris) alerted her parents did they realize something was very wrong.Roger will be going back in time with the help of his ancestor Buck MacKenzie (Diarmaid Murtagh) to save Jemmy.Meanwhile, Brianna will remain in the future with Mandy at Lallybroch rather than putting the whole family in danger. Finally, in the past, Young Ian Murray (John Bell) will be asking Claire about whether there will be another battle.
