Grey's Anatomy's success has largely been attributed to the character of Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo. In season 19, Meredith left for Boston to focus on her children's education, but the show has continued to thrive in her absence. While fans are excited for her return in season 20, it is important that her role is balanced and doesn't overshadow other characters. It would be beneficial to have Meredith in a smaller, more limited role to allow for further exploration of other characters and storylines. The show can still capitalize on her return without it taking center stage.
