Gal Gadot practiced for a month before auditioning for her role as the Evil Queen in the live-action Snow White film. In an interview with GQ, Gadot revealed that she had to ensure her singing voice was up to par for the musical movie. She worked on the song for a month, auditioned, filmed the song, and ultimately landed the part. 

The actress expressed that Snow White was a unique project for her because of its musical and theatrical nature. Despite the controversy surrounding the film's production, both Gadot and her co-star, Rachel Zegler, remain optimistic about delivering a modern and character-driven take on the classic story. The release date for the film, set for 2024, is yet to be announced.
