Gal Gadot's latest Netflix film, Heart of Stone, has received negative reviews, following her previous film, Red Notice, which also didn't impress critics in 2021. Despite its poor reception, Red Notice became Netflix's most-watched movie in 2021 and was well-received by audiences.

The film starred Gadot alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, creating a fun and comedic tone. However, Heart of Stone lacked the same star-studded cast and humor, relying solely on Gadot's popularity, the plot, and execution.

Unfortunately, Heart of Stone is receiving even worse reviews than Red Notice, with a low 29% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. While audience scores could help to some extent, it doesn't look good for the film's overall reception. The chances of a Heart of Stone 2 happening are not promising due to its poor reviews and lackluster marketing.

This continues Gadot's struggle to find success with critics outside of major franchises, where she is best known for her roles in the Fast & Furious films and as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe.

Despite setbacks, Gadot continues to find new roles and opportunities, such as being cast as Cleopatra and the Evil Queen in upcoming projects. Additionally, Red Notice sequels are in the works, giving her more chances to improve her standing among critics.
