Gal Gadot, star of Wonder Woman, expressed her passion for action films and the lack of female protagonists in the genre. After the success of Wonder Woman, she sought out more action film roles and starred in films like Red Notice and the upcoming thriller Heart of Stone. 

Heart of Stone is an action thriller about intelligence operative Rachel Stone who races against time to stop a hacker. Director Tom Harper hopes the film will start a franchise led by a female protagonist. 

Gal Gadot found the intense action in Heart of Stone to be the most challenging set she has ever been a part of. The film premieres on August 11 on Netflix.
