Gal Gadot, known for her role as Wonder Woman, commented on the casting of a new Superman in the DC Universe. She revealed that she didn't know who got the role in Superman: Legacy but had heard that the actors who auditioned were all talented. Gadot wished the new Superman the best of luck. 

It was later announced that David Corenswet will be playing Superman in the film. Despite assumptions that her time as Wonder Woman was over, Gadot confirmed that she will be returning for Wonder Woman 3. Superman: Legacy, starring Corenswet, will be released on July 11, 2025.
