To make matters worse, Luna was hallucinating and seeing RJ's face during the encounter.

Social media has been buzzing with comments from fans. Some have pointed out that Brad Bell seems to have learned this type of storyline from his father, Bill Bell, who had a similar storyline on The Young and the Restless in the 1990s.

However, critics argue that times have changed and such storylines are no longer acceptable. One fan commented, "Bold also had Ridge have sex with Caroline while she was drunk and thought he was Thorne and he knew it. But he continued because it was a joke gone too far. It is one thing to do this story in the 80s and another to do it in the 2000s. It was bad then, but even much worse now. Basically most of his stories he just takes from his dad."

Luna, on the other hand, entered Zende's room of her own accord and did not appear to be impaired.
