Alan Hamel, the husband of Suzanne Somers, has paid tribute to his wife one day after her death. Somers, famous for her role as Chrissy Snow on the sitcom Three's Company, passed away on Sunday at the age of 76 after a long battle with cancer.

On what would have been Somers' 77th birthday, Hamel, 87, took to her Instagram account to express the significance of their lifelong love. The tribute was accompanied by three photos of the couple, capturing their happiness together. Hamel began the post by stating that no version of the word "love" adequately describes his feelings for Somers.

He explained that even expressions like "unconditional love" or "I'll take a bullet for you" fall short. After 55 years together, 46 of which were married, Hamel emphasized that no words or actions can fully express their connection. He concluded by declaring his eternal love for Somers.

The photos included a tender kiss on Hamel's cheek, an embrace during a safari tour, and a joy-filled moment of togetherness. Somers' publicist confirmed her peaceful passing at home, surrounded by her loved ones. Hamel and Somers married in 1977 and have been inseparable for 42 years.
