Alana Hadid, the older sister of supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, recently made her fashion show debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week in Denmark. Opening the spring 2024 show for Saks Potts, Alana expressed her excitement on Instagram, stating that it was her first runway experience. She thanked designers Barbara Potts and Cathrine Saks for the opportunity and shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the event.
The carousel of images showcased Alana's journey, starting with a test shoot in a light blue striped polo and progressing to her sitting in the makeup chair while a stylist styled her hair.
Alana's temporary tattoos of animated blue and purple dolphins were also on display, as well as her runway look, which consisted of a beige fitted leather jacket, denim pants, a blue sequin wrap skirt/pants, and silver chrome thong sandals. The clip finally captured Alana's runway walk on the beach, where she opened the Saks Potts fashion show.
Alana expressed her gratitude to the designers in the comments, appreciating the amazing experience. Her sister Marielle jokingly commented on the post, highlighting how Alana became a runway model at the age of 40. Alana's friends and fellow celebrities also congratulated her and praised her beauty and talent.
Alana has previously spoken about the close bond she shares with her famous siblings, emphasizing that despite their success, they are just sisters who enjoy activities like shopping, cooking, and staying connected through a group chat. Alana, Gigi, and Bella are all children of real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, with Alana and Marielle being from his first marriage and Gigi, Bella, and their brother Anwar from his second.
