The two suspects involved in the killing of rapper XXXTentacion have made their first appearance in court. Dedrick Williams and Michael Boatwright appeared in front of a judge in Broward County, Florida on Thursday. The 20-year-old rapper was shot dead outside a motorcycle dealership last month. Williams, 22, was the first suspect to be arrested and is facing charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon. Boatwright, 22, was apprehended earlier this month and has been charged with first-degree murder. Both suspects have been denied bail. The hearing lasted only a few minutes, during which Boatwright requested a court-appointed attorney and Williams' public defender argued for access to evidence in the case.

The motive behind the killing has not been revealed. XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, had a troubled past but was finding success in the music industry before his untimely death. His fans have been shocked and saddened by the loss, with many attending memorial events and vigils to pay tribute to the late rapper. The investigation into the murder is ongoing, and authorities are working to apprehend any other individuals who may have been involved.
