Former Scientologist Leah Remini has detailed an incident involving Tom Cruise in her new memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.

Remini claims that while hanging out with Cruise and Katie Holmes, the actor became enraged when he couldn't find prepackaged cookie dough in his kitchen. She says Cruise berated his assistants, raising his arms to illustrate his power and stating that he and the head of the church, David Miscavige, were above them.

Remini notes that the assistants were fearful because they knew what was coming. She says she diffused the situation by pointing out the cookie dough on the counter. Scientology responded to Remini's claims by saying that she was making up stories to gain attention for her book.
