Netflix's popular series "Bridgerton" has released a collection of enticing new photos from the highly anticipated Season 3. However, these photos feature a surprising twist, as they don't showcase the expected couple who will take center stage this season. Instead, the images portray Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his wife, Kate (Simone Ashley), sharing a charged and intimate moment. Even though the focus of Season 3 will shift to Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), it seems that Anthony and Kate are not ready to fade into the background just yet.

"Bridgerton," based on Julia Quinn's historical romance novels, follows a different member of the Bridgerton family each season as they find love in Regency-era London. Season 1 revolved around Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and the Duke of Hastings (Rege-Jean Page), while Season 2 explored Anthony Bridgerton's romantic journey with Kate Sharma. Season 3 will now delve into the love story between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.

In addition to the captivating photo of Anthony and Kate, the new images also depict Colin and Penelope together, Anthony and his mother Violet (Ruth Gemmell), and the Bridgerton family as a whole, including a first look at the recast role of Francesca Bridgerton (now played by Hannah Dodd).

These glimpses into Season 3 hint at the ongoing presence of Anthony and Kate in the series, in contrast to the minimal romantic scenes shared by Season 1's couple.

While fans may have been disappointed by the lack of steamy scenes in Season 2, it appears that Anthony and Kate's story is far from over. Simone Ashley expressed excitement for the future of their characters, stating that "Kate and Anthony are just getting started."
