Reynolds, who often joked about White being his "former girlfriend," paid tribute to the iconic actress by tweeting, "The world looks different now."

President Biden also acknowledged White's impact, referring to her as an "American treasure, an icon, and a pioneer" who challenged conventions and won hearts with her laughter and smiles. He further emphasized her ability to move souls, calling her a precious gift that will forever be cherished.
