Bruce Lee initially opposed the iconic mirror room scene in the movie "Enter the Dragon." The scene, which features Lee's character facing off against the main villain in a room filled with mirrors, is considered one of the best fight scenes in Lee's career. However, Lee thought the heavy use of mirrors would make the action hard to follow and risk ruining the intensity of the fight. He preferred more straightforward fight scenes where his kung fu skills could be fully showcased.

Despite his reservations, Lee eventually agreed to do the mirror room scene after seeing the set piece constructed for the fight.

He realized that the unique filming technique wouldn't deprive the finale of its excitement, and in fact, added to the intensity of the battle. The mirror room created a sense of mystery and forced Lee's character to rely on his senses and instincts to find the villain, making the fight more thrilling and highly contested. Additionally, the mirror room leveled the playing field by giving the villain a claw weapon, erasing any perceived advantage Lee's character had.

In the end, the mirror room scene became one of the most electrifying sequences in Lee's filmography, despite his initial opposition. It showcased his ability to adapt and try something different, ultimately making the fight in "Enter the Dragon" a memorable and fitting conclusion.
