Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey recently shared the one item he took home from the set of the popular Netflix series. During an appearance on The One Show, Bailey, who plays the role of Anthony Bridgerton, responded to a fan's question about whether he had taken any props from the show. When host Jermaine Jenas suggested that he might have taken some outfits, Bailey jokingly replied, "Some loons."
Bailey went on to explain that he did try to take Anthony's pocket watch, but the show's team was vigilant about keeping track of the props. "I mean, there are moments where you're running with an IKEA bag on the last day towards the car and they're chasing you down," he said.
Currently, Bailey is starring in a new gay romantic drama series called Fellow Travellers, which has garnered acclaim and achieved a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score upon its debut. The Showtime and Paramount+ series follows Bailey and Matt Bomer as two men who enter a relationship during the "Lavender Scare" era in the 1950s, a time when US senator Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn targeted individuals from the LGBTQ+ community.
In other Bridgerton news, actress Adjoa Andoh provided an update on the highly anticipated season three of the Netflix show. Andoh, who plays Lady Danbury on the series, revealed to Digital Spy that the new episodes will be released next year. She also expressed excitement about the upcoming season, saying that with each installment, the show becomes even more fabulous and complex.
Bridgerton seasons 1 and 2 are currently available for streaming on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Meanwhile, season 3 is currently in production.
Overall, Bailey's revelation about the pocket watch and Andoh's update on season three have surely left Bridgerton fans eagerly anticipating what's to come in the popular period drama series.
