In an Instagram post on May 13, Gadot expressed her sorrow over the conflict and emphasized the need for both Israel and its neighbors to live as free and secure nations. She voiced concern for her family, friends, and fellow citizens, stating that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a vicious cycle that has persisted for far too long. Gadot highlighted the importance of finding a peaceful solution and ending the unimaginable hostility. She also offered her prayers for the victims and their families.

While Gadot's message aimed for neutrality, the Hadid sisters, who have a Palestinian father, have been vocal about their pro-Palestinian views.

Bella Hadid, who has a substantial following of 42.4 million, recently attended a pro-Palestinian march in New York and shared images of the event on Instagram.

Responding to the Hadid sisters' activism, the official Twitter account of the state of Israel accused Bella Hadid of advocating for violence against Jews. The exchange on social media reflects the heightened tensions surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The conflict in Gaza began with Palestinian protests in Jerusalem against the potential eviction of 27 Palestinians from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood by Israel's Supreme Court.

Subsequent clashes between Israeli police and protesters at the al-Aqsa Mosque, located on the Temple Mount, led to Palestinian militants in Gaza launching numerous rockets at Israel.

Reuters reports that since the conflict erupted, at least 212 people have died in Gaza, including 61 children and 36 women. On the Israeli side, ten people, including two children, have been killed. The situation remains highly volatile and has garnered significant international attention and debate.
